From the Mouth of Babes

New conversation from the boys! I bought Stewart a church shirt that was pink with blue stripes. I was having him put it on and he was a little unsure, because it was pink. I told him that boys could wear pink too. He seemed satisfied momentarily until James walks in and says, "Stew why are you wearing a girl shirt." Stew looks at me like, I told you so. Then right after James, Jacob walks in and says, "That looks like a girl!" Well that did it. I ask if he wanted to wear it or that I could take it back and get a different one. Well the answer was clear, I would be taking it back. I guess I am glad that my boys are very boy! Don't buy pink for these boys. The life of a mom of boys. Very intresting.

James: Mom do you want to know why I don't like to eat apples? Because I might swallow the seeds. (this comes from the boy that finds an excuse not to eat everything)

Another good one from James: It was half way throuh the day and I was still in my workout clothes. James says to me, "Why are you still in those clothes?" Me, "Because I haven't gotten dressed yet." James. "Well you need to put on prettier clothes on than those, those are not very pretty." This is coming from my 5 year old boy. The sad thing was, was that it was a cute workout outfit, so I thought at least.
