THE 4TH RUST BOY HAS ARRIVED

Born on May 14th, 2008 at 3:25p.m.

The boys came to visit the first day but couldn't see him, except through the glass in the nursery. Grammy (Jeff's mom) was staying with the boys while we were in the hospital and I am so grateful to her. It is a hard job to keep up with these little boys, so kudos to her. You earn a spot in their hearts when you take care of them though. Back to the story of the hospital though; when Joshua was born he came out really fast and really pale and they were worried that he might have an internal infection. So they had to give him an IV to get some fluids in him but they couldn't get the IV in him and so wouldn't bring him out. I saw him very little that first day and anyone that came to visit that day didn't get to see him (unless it was through the glass). The next day he was doing better, but still they were worried about him. But all is good now and he is thriving and getting big just like his brothers.

A big CHEESE from big brother Jacob. Is he ready to give up his role as the baby? Yep! He loves being a big boy, just like his brothers.


Little did I know that James was going to be the one that wants to hold little Joshua the most. He loves his little brother and always wants to know where he is and wants to be by him or hold him. It is the gentle side of James, a side we don't get to see very often.

We love to have visitors. Heather and Tanna came to visit and so did Shannon and baby Jane. It is great to have such fabulous friends and I am so glad that so many of them have kids my boys ages. They are all such cute friends that love each other. It was fun because on Thursday night Naoma, Mary(and a friend of hers), Jared and Abbie (my niece) came to visit and we just hung out for a few hours. They didn't leave until around 11:00p.m. We had a great time. I love my family. I also had lots of other visitors, so I wasn't too bored in the hospital.

Cruisin' to the Southern Carribean with Corporate Alliance

A time to dress up and have a great dinner. The food was good and the company was even better.

It was probably a once in a lifetime experience to be able to go on a cruise with my mom and dad. My mom was not at all excited to go. Then she went and really enjoyed the trip. On our last excursion, we were on a catamaran and my mom and dad got really into the party and won a dance off. It was great to see them dancing on the boat with just the ocean behind them.

While on our cruise we were able to do a couple of service projects. One of them was an opportunity to paint a LDS Chapel and the surrounding wall. We had between 50 and 60 Corporate Alliance members and friends helping us paint. I was the errand girl and photographer, seeing that I was pregnant and was not supposed to be around oil based paint. The group was able to finish in just over two hours which was a complete miracle. While we were there was found out about President Hinckleys passing. It was good to know that we were doing something the he would of been happy about. A great humanitarian opportunity and a wonderful way to celebrate his life.

This was our other service project. We were able to visit a day care for handicapped boys and girls and provided needed supplies for an orphange. Our group provided over $2000 in goods. Many of our group brought items from home and the rest did cash donations. When we where there a group of us were able to go and get things that they needed and bring them to the orphange.

It's the Hap, Happiest Season of All

Our three little munchkins, ready for Santa to come. It was fun to have them so excited. Christmas is definately better when you have kids to share it with. It brings all the magic back.

Family Times in California

The Boys first time to Disneyland. They had a blast.


It was a perfect day until the very end when it started pouring rain. As we were running out of the park James and Jacob fell fast asleep even with the rain pounding on their little faces. And if you know my boys it takes a lot to make them fall asleep. So, I guess we did a good job wearing out these boys. They loved every minute of it though.

The day at the beach was one to remember. It was overcast and about 60 degrees, needless to say it was not quite beach weather. But to three little boys that had never seen the beach, it did not matter. They played for over an hour as I stood there in my sweatshirt and pants freezing, and Jeff having to go in the water after them. Being pregnant had its benefits.


After the beach we went and got ice cream and Jacob feel asleep with his ice cream in hand.
I guess not giving him a nap day after day had its effect.
